Original fiction project - week of 1/23/2011

Not a lot of writing this week. Mostly, I've been organizing all the stuff I've written, trying to see what I have, and where I'd like to concentrate my writing time in February. I'm beginning to see the hints of a story coming together in all this stuff, and to be honest, it makes me nervous. What if a plot starts to gel and I find it boring? I tell you, I am so easily disenchanted of my own stories, and that is a problem, because it requires a lot of interest to sustain a novel-length story. It needs to compel me, which is why I'm procrastinating coming up with a plot. That can't go on forever, 'cause otherwise, no novel will get written.

*sigh*
